Exchange 2010 Servicepack 1 <unleashed>

This session provides details on the many new features and enhancements in Exchange Server 2010 SP1. We’ll start by covering the new pre-requisites for Service Pack 1, the enhancements and changes to setup and deployment and the choices of permission models. Then, we’ll dive into the enhancements in each server role covering many of the more than 75 new features in SP1, such as mailbox audit logging, new IRM functionality, personal archive enhancements, and more. Finally, we’ll wrap up with SP1’s integration with Exchange Online and the new Hosting Mode in SP1 for on-premise hosting of Exchange 2010.

Scott Schnoll is a Principal Technical Writer on the Exchange team at Microsoft, where among other things, he authors content on high availability, disaster recovery, and virtualization for Exchange Server. Scott enjoys writing, speaking and blogging about Exchange. Scott wrote "Exchange Server 2003 Distilled", and co-wrote "Exchange 2000 Server: The Complete Reference".
